Code Art
As regular readers will have noticed, I’m on a pretty big generative art kick at the moment. That said, I’ve been playing around in Processing using the ideas presented by Casey Reas and Marius Watz at the symposium last week, and have posted some shots to Flickr. Here’s a little taste:
Doodles and Hiroshi Ishii at Intuit
In case anyone isn’t feeling patient enough to see what those doodles in the last post turn into over time, here’s a few screen caps taken after about 5 minutes. Personally I recommend putting on some nice minimal techno and just zoning out watching it. It’s better than your typical visualizer because you get to …
Computer Doodle
I’ve been enjoying my summer and using it to play with Processing at my leisure. And thus, I bring you a new computer doodle (left click to add elements, right click to pause it – and give it a minute or two to develop, I can promise some very pretty colors).
Soniball

can’t… stop… processing…

By the way, I realize I haven’t explained what processing is: Processing is a programming language and development environment created by Casey Reas and Ben Fry of the MIT Media Lab. Processing was created with designers, artists, and the sort …
More Processing
As mentioned in the last post: just… can’t… stop… playing with… processing… Here’s a more geometrically complex version of the last applet – this time with pretty colors! Go ahead and click on it until you get something you like, then do a screen capture, and call it your own! More Art And it gets …
Processing!
So I’ve been spending way too much time learning processing. I’m enjoying it far too much really, to the point where I’m having a hard time getting myself to do my other work. At any rate, I thought I’d post a fun computational drawing applet I threw together. Check it out: Art!
